Multi-platinum performers Los Tigres Del Norte and Alejandro Fernandez are joining forces for the 2018 ROMPIENDO FRONTERAS (‘BREAKING BORDERS’) U.S. TOUR- an extensive late summer and fall tour across the United States as part of Fernandez’ ongoing Rompiendo Fronteras World Tour.

The tour will see the Pop And Ranchera superstar, and the Norteno legends bringing a heartfelt message of hope and support, along with a celebration of Mexican music, culture and heritage, to the Latino immigrant community in a challenging time - when they once again face the separation of families and challenges to those pursuing the American Dream.

Sure to be one of the top Latin music tours of the year, the 2018 ROMPIENDO FRONTERAS U.S. TOUR will be produced by CMN Events, and will kick-off August 23 at The Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.  With tickets on-sale today, Friday-June 1st, the tour will visit a total of 20 U.S. cities, including Miami, Los Angeles, Houston, San Jose, San Antonio, San Diego, Chicago, Washington DC, and more - concluding November 18 in Denver (see tour dates and ticket details below.

Alejandro Fernandez latest album, 2017’s Rompiendo Fronteras quickly vaulted to the top of the charts, making it his sixth #1 album in an extraordinary career. The album has produced hit singles, including “Se Que Te Duele,” “Quiero Que Vuelvas”, and the acclaimed collaboration with Los Tigres del Norte, “Para Sacarte De Mi Vida”, which they performed live on 2018’s Premios Lo Nuestro. Over the course of his chart-topping career, Alejandro has also collaborated with Christina Aguilera, Rod Stewart, his legendary father Vicente Fernandez, and, in what was one of the most exciting vocal combinations of all time, with Plácido Domingo and José Carreras for The Three Tenors. Alejandro has sold over 30 million albums, won two Latin Grammy Awards, the Billboard Hall of Fame Award and was awarded with a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Los Tigres del Norte are the undisputed legends of Norteño music.   In a cover profile on the group, Billboard magazine declared the family of musicians as, “the most influential regional Mexican group in the United States… Los Tigres del Norte are not just another popular musical act…. Instead, they're widely viewed as the voice of the people.”  Explaining the importance of Los Tigres, the New York Times went even further, declaring them as:  “Latin music's greatest statesmen… Los Tigres sell millions of records, regularly top Billboard's Latin charts and draw tens of thousands of fans to stadiums… In short, they are among the most popular acts in Latin music today.”  With more than 500 recorded songs to their credit, Los Tigres del Norte have sold over 37 Million albums worldwide, while notching 24 #1 albums, more than 50 #1 singles, and placing more tracks (66) on the “Hot Latin Songs Chart” than any other artist or group. The band has received countless Platinum records and numerous awards - including multiple GRAMMY and LATIN GRAMMYS, the Latin Recording Academy’s Lifetime Achievement Award, and The Hispanic Heritage “Legends” Award at The Kennedy Center. Even after an unrivaled five-decade career, Los Tigres continues to be at the forefront of Latin music popularity – still performing regularly to audiences exceeding 100,000+ a night, debuting at #1 on the charts with each album and single they release, and continually blazing new trails for the genre.
